Monthly Meeting: Globular Clusters by Andy Edelen – via ZOOM Thursday June 16, 7:00pm
June 12, 2022 @ 7:00 pm - June 16, 2022 @ 9:00 pm
Globular Clusters by Andy Edelen
Globular clusters are some of the oldest structures in the observable universe, dating back to the time the galaxies themselves first began forming. These clusters are some of the most-studied objects in astronomy; because of this, our understanding of these clusters is constantly increasing and changing. At this month’s EAS meeting, we’ll discuss the physical structure and origins of the globular clusters, their importance in our understanding of the Universe, and the how and why of observing them with backyard telescopes.
This meeting will be via ZOOM and invitation details will be distributed on the EAS email list.
