EWEB is hosting a farewell party at the College Hill Reservoir on the afternoon of Thursday, May 30th from 4:30 to 6:30. EAS will be there with solar telescopes to provide one last opportunity to do some astronomy on the reservoir deck before it’s torn down. Come join the party. If you have a solar-filtered telescope, bring it, but otherwise just come and have a look through ours.

There will also be a band, food, and ice cream on hand, so it should be a fun event. This is quite likely the very last public event of any sort that will be held on the reservoir, so don’t miss it. Bring a hanky.
